Voyage of Languages: Shaping a World without Borders reflects the transformative power of languages in connecting people, cultures, and communities across geographical boundaries.

HELCA 2026 celebrates languages as bridges of communication, understanding, and collaboration, highlighting their role in shaping a more interconnected and inclusive global society.

Inspired by the journey of exploration and discovery, HELCA 2026 invites participants to embark on a linguistic voyage through diverse languages and cultures.

The language-based booths will be presented as “ports of call”, each representing a unique linguistic destination where visitors can explore the history, heritage, and contemporary relevance of different languages.

Through the Language History Map, participants will journey along the evolution and global spread of languages, discovering how languages have travelled across regions, influenced cultures, and shaped human connections throughout history.

This immersive experience aims to foster appreciation for linguistic diversity while showcasing the role of languages in building a world without borders.
